Mountain range of Irta is located to the north of Castellón, within the municipal terms of Alcala de Xivert, Sta. Magdalena de Polpis and Peñíscola. Considered like one of the more fascinating Natural Parks of the peninsula, this natural and landscaping jewel is the only coastal zone that is frees of constructions from France to Andalusia. Templars castles, Christian hermitages, rest of a morisc town already disappear, incredible cliffs that are opened to the sea in front of, sand beaches, dune fields...It is the Natural Park of the Mountain range of Irta.
